welcome to my catharsis.

My name is Mya Rose and I am currently based in Boulder, Colorado. I’ve used writing as a catharsis for as long as I can remember. This is my primary medium of sharing that writing, whether it’s in the form of poetry, prose, or simply streams of consciousness. I hope you like what you read, and I hope my writing possibly sways some to write as well.

what is twin blue flames?

“Twin Blue Flames” is my official writing project which I began at the start of the new year, 2020. It stands and speaks for allowing yourself to step outside of the box, or your comfort zone. It’s vulnerability, versatility, and resilience. It’s having several faces to every side of every story. It’s having multitudes.

Twin Blue Flames is not my entire writing identity, but an increasingly vital chapter. Inside are a few of the things I have felt over the last four years, and I hope you’re able to find pieces of yourself within them as well.
